First of all, congrats on your work accomplishment! 🥳 Secondly, I would pick Oris Diver 65 in more monochromatic option (I plan on buying it one day) because I like those "boring" watches, after all - I am an introvert 😁 Since you're on the opposite side, this Sunset version would be great option for you! 😁
I had the same issue with the Murph and with the "regular" Khaki Field Automatic 38mm, but in my opinion - they both have to many good things so I decided I can live with that issue.
But sometimes it is annoying, to be honest 😄
This is the watch I wanted the longest, and I even ordered it from my local AD without even trying it on. Ok, to fair enough, I already had the Khaki Field Automatic 38m, so I knew it should fit me..
I love the symmetry (this is the big one), the story behind it, the look overall... It just gives me good vibes. I even bought both bracelets for it from Uncle Straps.
I have it now on my wrist (with the Uncle Straps Senator bracelet) and it makes me happ.
I've had a couple of AVI-8 watches (still have them actually somewhere in my basement), and I wouldn't put them into this category - speaking of quality. They are cheap quality quartz/automatic watches that started my watch collection journey, but after I bought a couple of Seiko and Orient watches a couple of years ago - I realized how much better those two watches are. If you're into AVI-8 styling, go for it for sure, but every other watch from this list is a better option.
I'm a Hamilton fan boy, so I vote for the Khaki Field 💪
I have regular DS Action Diver in 38mm and I am so happy with that watch!
