Which everyday beater would you choose? (Red Citizen Fugu for $385 or Carribean Turtle for $367.)

Trying to decide on an everyday beater. I’d wear it into the ocean, doing yardwork, other mundane everyday activities. Red Fugu - NYE0156-04E - $385 Carribean Turtle - Seiko SRPD43 - $367

I also like what Oris is doing and am thinking of getting a Big Crown Pointer Date some time in the future.

Thanks for your votes and opinions! Ended up getting the Carribean Turtle because I liked the design language and fit better. (I think the Fugu is honestly a little large for my 6.375” wrist.)

yeah, I definitely like the red more than the blue of the turtle. However, I prefer the Turtle’s more rounded indices and design language to the Fugu’s angular look.

Yeah, I’m very much on the fence between these two as well 🤔. Good point about the cyclops, that might make useability easier. OTOH I’ve never been a fan of the look or having a protruding bump on the crystal (not even sapphire in thise case).
