Goodbye Speedtimer

Yep, I searched and searched for a killer price on this watch.  Finally found one and jumped on it.   I sized it, threw it on, and gazed in its glory....

What are your thoughts on case sizes?

I’m sitting here wearing a G-Shock GWG-1000.  The case dims are 59.5×56.1×18.0mm.  I’ve got a dozen or so G-Shock’s, and have never been bothered by t...

Bulova Devil Diver

I’ve spent my first 24hrs with this little gem.  One thing, I can’t stop looking at it.  The orange on the dial is crazy!!!   Hard to get photos of th...

I can definitely say that I wasn’t a big fan of the date window.

If it’s off, I’m bothered. All I do is custom work, if it’s off, I redo it. It’s a mental thing.

Probably, just bummed that it was new and like that.  In the long and short, I’d rather not pull it apart or pay someone else too.  I could’ve sent it in for warranty, but then it would’ve been pulled apart anyway, possibly just replaced.  Anyway, I’m happy I don‘t have to look at it anymore.

Extremely satisfied and thank you!!  I said I was going to stop buying a couple weeks ago after I ordered a Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba.  Didn’t care for it to much so I passed.    Then I was going to wait to buy my grail.   Stumbled across zelos a few weeks ago and have been reading up on them.      It’s everything I want, but the movement.  I’ll get it on my timegrapher and get it regulated in a couple of weeks.         Craftsmanship is top notch.

I agree. Oddly I’m not bothered by the size of the G-SHOCK watches I own.  I prefer a 38mm case.  But am waiting on a couple of 41mm divers.

I wore the Navy Scuba around my friends shop and had to pass on it.  The journey continues.

If I could keep my eye on the prize I’d have my Omega Moon Watch. But I keep seeing all these little jewels along the way.  I’ve got a bunch of G-Shock’s and that’s all that I’ve really ever looked at.   Then one day a switch flipped and here I am.

Amazing Seamaster!!!  Something about orange…

I agree, Hamilton’s ordered.  For some random reason I ordered a Bulova Devil Diver too.  No freakin clue why, but the orange always catches my eye.

Not a fan.

Well I tried, thought I’d be a fan of the Speedtimer with a nato strap on it.  I’ve got a few leather straps coming in over the next few days to try,...

Well, it’s not a moon landing, but it’s definitely out of this world.

Weekends are for family and watches.
