Guys…. Help

*quick edit: this will be my last purchase for awhile so I want to end it with a banger if you get what I mean*

So before I start about what I need help with here’s some things to know before hand:

  1. I work as a bartender so most vintage pieces can’t be applied since I don’t want to water damage them(even if I only get splashes on water on my watch)

  2. I want an everyday watch but already have couple of the most recommended pieces

  3. I want it to be special

Sooo having stated that , I’m searching for a new addition to my collection which so far includes the blue bay 58(which is in service but still will never leave my collection) , the Omega SMP300 white dial , Nomos Club Campus 36 in Future Orange, couple of Seiko 5 sports , and the tissot prx Powermatic 80 in the white dial Rose bezel configuration.

I looked at a couple of omega aqua Terra’s but besides the green model none of them have really intrigued me in my budget. I want the watch to be robust , casual but can also be dressed up and I want it to be comfortable and if possible a bit special

Oh yeah btw the budget is 5000 euros.

I Hope you guys can help a brother out.

(Will be replying later since I’m working rn)

With kind regards

Haroun

Oris Pro Pilot? The new laser colored dial is kind of sexy and could see this as being dressy or casual.

How about an Oris Diver 65, they’ve got a vintage vibe and they have so many variations.

·

Dude, is really hard to recommend you a watch because your collection is on point. I'd say this:

I thought about that but since I already have 2 really nice divers I came to the conclusion that It would be overkill in one direction yk

Damn that’s just gorgeous, really good idea but they’re above my budget on the secondary market (since I live in Germany and they’re about 6000-7000 euros here and in Europe)

Is there something else in this direction that you could recommend? And btw I noticed that I don’t have a chronograph in my collection and I always liked the idea of a chronograph

How about a Field Watch, any brand.

Ooohh I love stuff like this..

Couple of Q’s:

Is there a particular style you want to go for next? I see two divers in the SMP and BB.

Date? No date?

Any other complications?

Bracelet? Leather strap? Or do you prefer to wear more chill on say a nato?

Sizing? More than 40mm? Or smaller?

  1. Not really just not the vintage style because I already have the BB

  2. Lets say I don’t mind a well executed date window

  3. Can be a chronograph , GMT or moon phase as long as it’s still a bit sporty

  4. Depends I usually like to wear my watches on bracelets but I don’t have anything against a good leather strap. Don’t kill me but I’m in a love hate relationship with natos so I wouldn’t particularly get a watch on a nato but I could see myself putting one on later

  5. Depends on the watch the SMP has a lug to lug of about 49/50 which fits me pretty well , but I also wouldn’t mind a smaller watch( so say 36 with a longer lug to lug - 44 with a smaller lug to lug

That watch would be stunning to own but it’s the diversity problem again

I like to enjoy them from a far but I wouldn’t see myself wearing one

I also looked at grand Seiko but all the heavy hitters and the stunning dials are over my budget

I actually think a birth year Datejust 36 would look totally badass. Robust, waterproof, can handle day-to-day. And is definitely special. Even a 90's or early 2000's variation.

I saw one on a bartender here in Toronto actually (he also had a sleeve tattoo) and it looked absolutely 🔥.

The even more fun part is the hunt - especially for a specific dial/color/year.

The other thought is another iconic watch:

I got one more for you that is totally left field but IMO is super badass and fun. Because what’s life if not for some fun, eh?? 😁
