Why do I torture myself?

I had no business walking into the store and wasting everyone's time but I had to look! OMG the ranger on bracelet?!?! This is the first time I've ever seen one on bracelet. And while I think the fabric strap version is more comfortable to wear, this bracelet setup is amazeballs! Then I glanced over and saw the heritage bb on rubber!!! This is as close to oysterflex as I'll ever get! But wait a minute, they have the 5 link too?!?! Hardly anyone in my area has the rubber or the 5 link and here they are both in the flesh! "How do you guys have all 3 versions?!?!" I asked the salesperson and he just smiled at me and didn't say a word.... then I twisted the watch to get it running but it was stuck on 10:10 🤦‍♂️. I had just been rolexed! I looked up and asked the salesperson, are these all display models?" He said "yes, tudor has followed in it's big brother's footsteps. Oh well, I wasn't gonna be able to get them anyways. At least I was able to try on both the rubber and the 5 link and they are both awesome!

The heritage on 5 link would be my first choice, then the rubber then the oyster. I do also really like that ranger too

Never feel bad about spending time trying on watches.

All 3 Tudors are readily available on the grey market - some already at retail (the reds) or maybe a few hundred above - and some below (ranger).

Next year all 3 will be below retail on the grey

Why are you a ‘time waster’?

Even though you didn’t buy one (and you probably weren’t the only person that day, not to), you just endorsed their product (for free) to possibly, hundreds of people.

That’s a fair trade.

I know the feeling, I love the Tudor black Bay on the Jubilee and the Ranger is beautiful.

It's a curse of watch lovers that many times are eyes are bigger than our bank accounts and even then we decide to splurge a bit. But I say go bananas with the window shopping! It's always a fun time, especially if the people working at the AD are watch lovers themselves and you can geek out a bit on it. The people at the local London Jewelers greet me by first name now and joke with me about am I ready to buy a PP or not.

I can attest to how amazing the Ranger is. I think it’s the best wearing Tudor they have right now. I’ve had mine for over a year and it gets the most wrist time out of all the watches in my collection. And it’s insanely accurate.

I think out of all the watches, that's the most realistic one I would get, not only because it's the most affordable but because it can be something I can wear more often, almost a daily.

That red bezel with the jubilee bracelet is a stunner. Really makes me want to get the poor man version via-a-vis the Glycine Combat Sub 39.

·

How many turns did you give the crown? When I tried on a load of Tudors at the airport, they were all set to 10:10 but with 40 turns, they all got going. That 5 link bracelet is delightful.

·

I do that at watches of Swizerland all the time. They are used to it.

I could not agree more! In my book this is easily the best watch Tudor has ever produced. Absolutely amazing!

5 link looks great. I tried on the S&G and liked it. The ranger is a bit too small for me.
