Hello everyone I have been collecting watches for over 25 years now, I have way too many but I honestly love them all no matter what brand they are. I've recently left social media and now find myself...

I almost love it … four things to change:
just a fraction smaller or give the lugs some downward curve
smooth sweep second hand
all brushed finishing on case and bracelet
fold over clasp instead of butterfly
Then I think I would be there.
Now the purists will argue that the original was this size and was flat. To which I say - the original wasn’t this colour way and it didn’t have a butterfly clasp, etc., etc. so just make it a great watch.
texture, colors, layers... great watch
I thought the Lunar Pilot and the Jetstar share the same quartz movement that has a sweep second hand & incredible accuracy. I gave an OG Lunar Pilot to my brother for his birthday last year. He LOVES this watch!
Need this in 40 or 41 and I will be first in line
Sheeeeeeeesh, what a beaut! Love it!
Yep, I'm always on the verge of buying it. But scared by those straight lugs (6.5 inch wrist).
Or...
The one thing I’d change are the blue pushers. I would rather they be bare steel.
This would be my perfect watch if they only didnt remove the date window :(

IMO- Wears smaller. I also feel the seconds hand sweeps pretty decent.. smooth enough for the 262..

Your wrist is a good bit bigger than mine. I tried one on in an AD when they first came out and definitely too big for my wrist - which is odd because many watches with those dimensions but curved lugs fit just fine. That hands on experience - and big disappointment - was what informed my perspective and comment.
Honestly, I like the looks of the Lunar Pilot more than the Speedy. It's got more of a tool watch vibe and is especially fitting with a quartz movement.
I understand why they issued this "polar" version but I wish Bulova would focus on making an even smaller Lunar Pilot instead. 🥺
If this were smaller I’d be all over it 😂
