That's a hell of a gift! Insert pick of Leonardo DiCaprio raising a glass to her.
I'm in the same situation and the explorer is my next Grail purchase. Get the explorer otherwise you'll always think twice when you pick up whatever else you get. The plus side is the value holds so you can always sell and buy the other option if it really bugs you. I was thinking silver dial op but then I think it's the watch equivalent of a Toyota Camry.... Is that mine... No it's that one... Wait, or is it that one.
Not alone. I include model number, retail and market price so I know if I'm traveling and see one somewhere I have a good idea if it's worth a buy. Unfortunately the list is long but the pockets are shallow.
I'd say the pilot. The BB58 is a great all around kinda watch. The pilot while a great tool feels one dimensional. And the Air King, that is a low key flex. A very under the radar Rolex.
That would be amazing. Been going back and forth about the Ranger and can't seem to pull the trigger. Would a white dial be an Explorer II "homage"? I know it's supposed to be a tool watch but if they could step up a little in the dial finishing I would be more inclined.
The Omega is s just stunning and rose gold very understated. But... If you already have 2 then Tudor. Still a great watch. The bb58 is a lot of people's one and done. The green and gold is a nice look plus the fact it's so tool looking people wouldn't think you're rocking 18k
Good tips, I imagine some younger people don't care about "Dad's old watch" when they're helping to clean things up at their parent's house. Question though, what is a household clearance company. Sounds self explanatory but checking none the less.
