Recommendations for Amazon Hidden Gems?

(Image failed to load!)

If you had around $300 in gift card funds sitting in your Amazon US account, is there any watch (or watch related thing) in particular you would buy? Do you know of any hidden gems on Amazon that might be easily overlooked in the $300-$400 price range?

I'd look at Casios, Seiko 5's or maybe Pagani Design.

Summer will be here soon and who can't use 3 spankin' new beaters?

Honestly, in my experience, you just have to look around on Amazon and pounce when you find a deal.

I know the image is a little fuzzy, but the SNK809 was $64.98 and the BM8180-03E was $89.99. I got both of these for what the BM8180-03E lists for currently on Amazon, and I was not looking for anything specific when I found these. Just never know what you'll find. I am not aware of any great deals right now, but I have not been looking on Amazon for watches lately.

Yeah, I've been scoping it out. I saw some really good deals on some Casios lately, but I already have them. Great price for the SNK809! But it's back to $111 today it seems.

Spreading out the fun with a few beaters is also a possibility.

Check out my favorite G-Shock: the GW-9400 Rangeman.  They can be had for <$300.

I guess I would buy the American clipper from Bulova

Look at some Orient watches. Ray, Kamasu, Bambino or Envoy are nice choices depending what you're looking for.

That is very cool, but you have to build it yourself? 😮

I frequently see the kamasu at or below 300, it’s one of the better choices. I’ve seen the bulova lunar chrono on sale in the same price range as well. Two killer watches right there.

Just watches?  I would look a straps, spring bar tools, watch boxes, etc etc.

Ha!  Yes.  Only the worthy are chosen.  Meanwhile, people like me, who have the manual dexterity of an ox are sadly left behind.

The pendulum wall clock is pretty cool too. Not sure it would end up as more than a pile of broken parts though.

Good suggestions everyone. I could use a new watch box. Looks like some pretty good deals on certain Orients today.

·

I'd definitely roll the dice and order some Vostoks!
