If you could only pick one watch as every day watch, where are use in the office as well as going to dinner, etc. but what brand and watch would you pick?
For everyday watch I would pick a watch that is not expensive, has some water resistance, sapphire crystal, accurate enough to keep you on time and very confortable.
As an example I would pick a nice citizen watch nb 1050 or nb1060, the latter is more expensive. With this type of watch you can literally go anywhere and do everything. They work when you tend to the garden or repair your car, they work when you go to the office in a nice shirt, you can go anywhere with them nobody will look strange at you or try to rob you of a 500 bucks watch. The miyota 9 series is extremely accurate, ask anybody, so you won't be late to work.
Also most analogue japanese quartz watches should be good as a everyday normal people watch.
Sinn 104. It’s the any occasion watch in my collection…date, day, countdown timer, quality, precision, and great looks. It does everything I would ever need a watch to do.
Add to that I got it used in like-new condition at a very bargain price. I had to exercise my most effective negotiation skills (begging, pleading, and crying) to swing the deal.
As Bonnie Raitt sang so wonderfully, Love (for a watch) Has No Pride.
What do you think of Nomos? Like the campus Ahoi that is coming out in sky blue
I have no personal experience with Nomos. I’ve never seen one in person. Some people really, really love them and I haven’t heard any complaints at all about them so they must be doing something right.

Cartier Santos XL with quick change strap/bracelet feature, sporty/ casual with the iconic steel bracelet, elegant dressy with the leather strap.
My P39 has been doing that lately.

Omega Aqua Terra
My Zelos Mako V3 is doing that.
Outdoors: 300m water resistance and sapphire Crystal makes it rugged enough for just about anything
Office: 40mm case with a thickness of 11.5mm and a 46mm L2L makes it compact enough, and the bracelet is so comfortable it is a breeze to wear daily.
Dinner: Again the size is perfect (for me) and the dial is a real show stopper, it’ll fit in at any restaurant.
It also has a micro adjustable bracelet which is handy in all situations.
It really has become my GADA watch
Rolex OP. Can be dressed up or down with a good variety of colors to choose from.
No date Sub. Perfect all rounder 👌
Cartier Santos De Cartier or standard black date sub
The Santos de Cartier (medium no date) is the perfect watch for any and all surroundings.
Closely followed by a Datejust (most configs work).
I don't do a lot of dressing up, so I'd go for an Explorer II or a DJ both are so classic.
Explorer.
Timex Easy Reader 35mm
I would choose the Explorer, but I can't afford it. The realistic everyday watch is Monta Triumph.
I am think of getting the Nomos Club Ahoi coming out in sky blue. Has 200m water resistance and looks great
