Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I got tired of buying ordinary jewelry and wanted something with more thought and craftsmanship put into it.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
An '05 Victorinox Swiss Army, not sure what the exact model is, but my father gave it to me after holding onto it for 15 years.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like, not what has the highest price tag or most hype around it. If you like something that's $600 from a smaller brand, buy it, don't spend more for a watch you don't like as much just because it's from a more popular brand. It's your collection, make it yours.
