I definitely share in your sentiments towards quartz watches, but with that being said I also truly appreciate the watchmaking that does into automatic watches.
yes you have to set time and date but you also can forgo the battery aspect which is a plus in my opinion.

I mean parts are made in china (from what I’ve heard) but they’re assembled in Detroit.
i guess they’re “pricey” compared to other quartz watches but the fact that they’re assembled here, as well as quality of parts used and the smooth sapphire crystal make it worth the price tag for me.
