Thank you. The cool thing about watch collecting is that everybody has their own style. This just happens to be mine. I love looking at everyone else’s collections and dreaming about alternate realities. But I wouldn’t trade my collection for 99.9% of them. (Maybe if there was a million dollar watch in the other collection. 😂)
Thank you for the comment. Actually my smart watch may well change in 2024. Garmin is one of the options I’m considering. Depends on what my fitness goals end up looking like this year. (Still need to figure those out.) It also took me awhile to feel right about posting my collection. In the meantime, just continue sharing your daily wear. I look forward to seeing your collection once it’s ready.
Thank you. My most worn watch of 2023 is probably my SUF Helsinki 180N. It’s very comfortable and generally fits my day to day. Least worn is probably my AnOrdain Fabrik, although I’m not sure why. Yes, the Omega is pictured with a black strap. I also often wear it with grey and blue straps. Today I paired it with an orange strap and it really fits my hopeful mood for 2024.
I suppose it depends on your collecting philosophy. For me, balancing my box was helpful to avoid overspending and feeling like I was becoming a watch hoarder. It made me evaluate each purchase more carefully. It helped keep everything in perspective. And I think for where I am in my collecting journey, following some rules has been a big help. Maybe after I have lived with my collection for more time it will make sense to buy wherever my heart takes me. But for now, and until my bank account gets significantly larger, I'm sticking to box balancing rules.
