Why put 'em away??
Two years into my watch journey, I found myself with a closet full of watch boxes...said to myself, why put 'em away? Cleared out a bunch of books I read already and put together a little display...nothing fancy, but kind of gives "la collection de montres" a place. Has anyone done the same? Show me your pics!

Oh man, my watch boxes are packed in a closet and my watches live in a safe . This is a great display!
The only box to keep held a valuable watch that gains value being a full set. To some its a roadmap to what you have hidden for the taking. My watches are worthless so I toss the boxes with the spring clean.
I save my boxes as I sell watches I end up not wanting for the long run. Also, If I gift a watch. It's nice to have the box.
I just keep mine in rubbermaid tubs, But I think this is an interesting idea.
No space for a display, but I keep my boxes in a closet, even that ginormous one the Pagani Explorer came in (just a tad larger than your Frederique Constant box). I have about 10-15 watches on rotation, and every now and then some of them go back into those boxes and I take a few out of other boxes to take their place.
My wife would kill me if I did that ,all the space has to be filled with cushions and jo Malone and white company boxes
I packed the boxes in large IKEA plastic boxes and took them to the storage downstairs.
I keep the boxes of my watches, most electronics, etc. Usually for if and when I get bored of them I can sell them on and buy something new. As for display? I probably wouldn't.
No, but what a great idea..Many years ago I threw the boxes away then I learned! Some of them are pretty darn cool..
I’m liking that idea. I’ve got several nice boxes tucked away that should be seen.
Cool idea, made me think of doing something like that with one or two boxes maybe.

I have an oddly shaped set of shelves in my bedroom, which I use for this purpose also.
