Cartier Tank with quartz movement is ok, right?
I am looking for a watch for my wedding. Actually I had decided on the Cartier Tank Must XL, but unfortunately the watch feels too big on my wrist. Now I am thinking of buying this beautiful Tank ref. WSTA0072. My only doubt: it has quartz movement. That shouldn't be a deal breaker, right?

Yeah my other half is looking at the same for the wedding the XL is big even on my 7” wrist for a dress watch, maybe get the solar powered one as it’s a very clever design?

The solar powered one is not available in Germany, and it does not have the beautiful silvered flinqué dial like on the XL.
It's a total plus here, as one can't even use the lame sweep second hand excuse.
The XL is the only one with the engine turned dial - but its far too big!
Go for a Quartz (or solar if you can get it) in large.
Its a brilliant watch!
Mrs has a quartz Cartier, it's beautiful 😍. Can't tell it's quartz because no second hand.

The XL is too big for pretty much everyone. This is a great-looking watch, if you like it, get it.

Why what’s wrong with quartz? Accurate ✅ hassle free and a bit kinda maintenance free really ✅ I say get it don’t be a snob 😂
It’s a lovely watch. I’d have no issues with it being quartz.
Quartz is only ever a problem when the movements are cheap and plasticky. I doubt Cartier is getting their movements from the back doors of Chinese sweatshops. There isn't even a seconds hand, so one won't be able to tell it's quartz unless you hold it to your ear or open it up. Go for it!
