MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold - The hype is over
Swatch is selling the new MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold today, and I was fortunate. I called the Swatch boutique in Düsseldorf at 4 pm CET to inquire about its availability, and they had it in stock. It took me 30 minutes to get there; there was no long queue at the store. I simply walked in, checked the watch, and made the purchase. The hype is finally over, at least in Germany.

I nearly went to get one from the Munich store, the first time i'd have been near to a store that had them on release day, but decided I didn't like the design enough.
I'd bet that'll be the last, or perhaps the penultimate Moonshiine Gold edition.

At the end of the day, it's just a plastic watch and nothing particularly special. I only wear the watch once or twice a week. I'm glad to own it, and maybe I'll treat myself to a real Moonwatch in the future.
