Restructuring my collection

I have been taking a step back for the last couple of months trying to think where I am going with my collection. Only purchased two pieces since september.

Now I have decided to divided to 3 parts.

First part are mainly vintage pieces which I am not wearing(some do not work at all sone need revision). Middle pic

Second Part is the watches I decided to sell to make space and money for new pieces. Last Pic

Last part is the ones I am frequently wearing. With the exception of the explorer homage and the bambino which are going either for sale or gift to family. The others I am keeping. 1st Picture

New pieces in my wishlist include quartz hamis, seiko 5s , seiko pressages, orient star, accutron...

We ll see how it goes..😊

Thanks for sharing.

I also am at a point where I’m freezing my collection to have some time to spend with all my pieces before adding to it.

At 30+ watches I think it’s time to stop buying all together to figure out my next move. I’m trying to keep the collection as tight as possible and make sure every watch is fully appreciated if it’s staying in. At the same time that give me time to save money to move into bigger pieces dollar wise and add luxury to the line up.

The restructuring is going well. I have managed to sell 6 watches (4 divers 1 bambino and the Casio Royale) and prepared another 6 for gifts in the near future.

I have now divided the collection to the vintage pieces that i do not wear and to the current rotation which are 7 watches for now, trying to scale down to 5. That way will release space and budget for a new addition.
