Case Shapes - Tortue and others...

I'm on the lookout for some more unusual case shapes - be good to hear personal favourites from others here, modern or vintage.

Particularly interested in any other options on "Tortue" style watches, similar to the lovely, but rare and pricey FP Journe and Cartier models in the pictures here.

to me, as you stated above, nothing beats the monopoussoir:

that said, some pieces that share the tonneau shape:

  • Hamilton w10

  • Farer Milan

  • whatever this Oris is:

turns out there's heaps, lots of great looking vintage pieces from Omega and Seiko (of course)

As previously mentioned, this Girard Perregaux Richeville would be my choice...
