To alligator strap or not to alligator strap
First post. Glad to be here. Alligator strap or no? And while we’re on the subject, what’s a good place to buy straps?

Enjoy the alligator for a while. Always looks classsy.
Definitely alligator. Have it custom made to fit your wrist. Alligator strap will last longer and keeps its form better that cattle leather. My wrist is a little bigger than yours, and my GS strap was too long, so I had my new strap made to resemble the GS strap. This strap was made by Artisan Straps in Australia. Good luck.

I like "Has no bounds" watch straps. They have a decent selection of straps with the odd lug distance.

Yeah that’s kind of how I feel. The polish is so nice on this watch that the alligator just works.
I'll be the first dissenter and say nay to the alligator strap. I've never been a fan, but it seems I'm in the minority.
I wouldn’t in brown though maybe a different colour

Probably the best deals for straps come from Tuns Leather online store (don’t get there via Etsy, you’ll pay more). They also offer a discount on more than one strap.

I have this exact same watch! I bought a taupe Delugs strap to pair with it because I personally don’t like alligator strap
