I would go with C, but the thing is that isn't a Rolex only problem, for some reason during the COVID panademic demand spiked and ha never returnal the pr vious level and of course they grey market also picked on it what led to a further increase in price and demand, that trend also happened with other high end watch brands.
Yeah, it's a great watch, i have the model as you bought and it became my daily driver, super comfortable on both straps, now all you need to do is enjoy it, congrats on the new watch!
It can look good on more expensive pieces but it's so misused on many cheap watches with to make it look more expensive while having an unfinished movement behind that i pretty mcuh associate it with low quality watches now a days, i know there are very expensive watches that looks amzing when it's used properly and it think it should be reserved only for those, you either go the full way or put a proper dial.
