I purchased two Pelagos 39 - one for myself and one for my buddy. Getting the casebacks engraved today. Under the main engraving of each watch I want to note that there are two of these watches. How should I represent that?
Seems to me doing any of those is implying that you have some sort of limited edition..I would put something more personal...JMO enjoy the hobby
The main engraving is the name of his film (big theatrical release) so in a way it is limited as they will be the only 2 watches with name of film and in his case worn by the writer/director

But I do see what you mean - I feel the 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 option feels more personal than 001 and 002 - but I could argue aesthetics and tradition for that option..hence being stuck lol

Sorry I must have misread.....that makes more sense ....enjoy
Me being an annoying nerd about numbers but if there will only be two, then you don't need 3 digits to represent a single digit outcome (1, 2). So I'd go with the first option (1 of 2, 2 of 2).

Lucky buddy! How about “1 of 2” on both? Or “50%” ?

all good I didn’t give full context - appreciate the insight 💯

Bingo. Each of you get the same engraving, it links them together, and is clear that there is only the 2
Awwww… you two are too sweet 🥰😍…
OoI and OII

I like the 1 of 2 line the best.
I'd say 1of2 and 2of2.
How about 10:10 and 2:50? 😂
001 and 002
If it’s good for Paul ! Great idea for a milestone commemoration 001 of 002 on both is my recommendation or D001 and P001
I'd put 1 of 2 on both watches.
1st Half 2nd Half
