Seiko 5 Sports 55th Anniversary models
I know what people will say... more limited editions!
But... I think these are a nice thing. $499 Australian (so presuming a better price in US dollars), is a fair price for a nice automatic, limited to 1968 pieces (each colourway), worldwide. It's a 'cheap and cheerful' sort of price, for something a bit fun and cool.

I'm not hugely versed on the Seiko 5 range, but the PR suggests elements of all these models are taken from past Seiko 5 watches, so I'm presuming the bezels have been on some popular previous models, and were part of some campaign where watch fans could customise a Seiko 5 and the best entries became these four production models? Something like that? I wish I'd known about it; I would have had a go!

Black dial. The gold is ugh, the silver I can't make out the markers andthe orange seems to sunburst-y compared to the usual.
The black dial is the way to go. Although the black and orange dial specifically can easily be modded from a standard 5KX variant.
As usual, this is clever of Seiko to sell modded watches at a premium even though the community has already been DIY for many years haha.

oh 100%, if you're not adventurous just buy the watch with the look already. I on the other hand throw warranties to the wind! only for Seiko 5's 😎
