Good day fellow Watch crunchers!

Here’s my SOTC 2024! I’ve only really started this around Q1 2023. I’ve only ever had the one Omega Seamaster 200 prebond that my dad gave to me back in highschool and my old blue face tagheuer 2000 i had since elementary (which I gave to my brother).

So in order of acquisition:

I don’t really have much of a theme going on, but I started with Chronographs because I’m into cars and 4wds too.

Funnily enough, when I talked to my Dad about buying chronograph watches he said this, “You only like Chronographs now because you’re new, but you’ll soon realize you want simple elegant watches”. Im starting to transition to focusing more on three handers now too over chronographs (except for the Speedy which I’m currently saving for).

The Explorer 39 was more of a first anniversary at my new work watch and was such a great deal for me.

Anyway, I’m looking at slotting in a Cartier Tank Solo Large in a steel bracelet and hoping that Ill still have enough to continue saving for a Speedy Pro as thats been my grail since Day 1. I opted for the Explorer as a first purchase though as I’d rather have a solid and uncomplicated base watch since Ive heard quite a few horror stories with the Speedy.
