CWC nylon straps just arrived 🇬🇧Pls suggest more premium nylon strap brands to try
I’m a downright dirty ali express nylon pass buyer 😜 and I do not believe in ordering premium nylon straps as from photos they do not look that much different in quality.
So because I was feeling fancy and a little splurgey I ordered 2 (3 actually by accident) nylon straps from CWC.
Well I don’t know but these feel only slightly better than my ali-x ones. Was it 7-8 GBP better, maybe, maybe not. But they were the cool colors that the china brand’s didn’t have plus they have the broad arrow and nsn numbers. So that’s definitely a win, and they’re still cheaper than other brands.
Overall the CWC standard nylon straps are quite alright and worth the money with the broad arrow and NSN number stamps. The military grey color is great too, pretty much spot on for admiralty grey I think.
Now, what Nylon straps would give me that premium feel? Please suggest below 🫰🫰🫰

There's always eBay too. Might not be better shipping, but you can get a slightly cheaper base price.
Have a look at CWC's elastic NATO's. Very comfortable.
Best I've found for the money are Watchgecko Zuludiver Geckota whatever they call themselves, but be sure to get the "proper" ones with sewn in buckles 👍🏻

If you want something truly unique from the run of the mill straps. Check out Steveo straps. He makes straps from new old stock military kit from the British military. I purchased one and it's my go to on my Hamilton.

Thats a japan microbrand called Naval Watch Co. they have some spiel about continuing the Picard and Cie swiss company in Japan but they’re a solid japanese micro thats with LOWERCASE jpn

I picked up a few and liked them, royal engineers was my favourite.
I just ordered a RSM, a little pricey but looks pretty cool. Haven’t received it yet though. Here’s a picture
