In my lunch hour I decided to stroll over to tag and check this out in the flesh, I must admit it's actually a very nice watch in person and I recommend going to your local AD to check it out.

I think it if was 3k it would be an instant sell out!

What do you guys think?

(and yes should have taken some pictures while I was there...but..hey I was drinking the free cola and looking at a cool watch so ..deal with it)

Its pretty snazzy , the strap is really nice and compliments the dial , and it comes in a nice box , I know that's not a deal breaker , but it does add to the opening of experience :)

I’m a sucker for red…

Wow wow wow. What a beautiful watch

Added image of case back also :)

I have a TAG Heuer Aquaracer and the finishing is very good. I thought it was overpriced until I handled it. This Carrera is to die for.

I was about to ask: the sragon is printed in the saphire case back?

Also: what is the symbol on the lower center subdial?

The Carreras are all solid watches, I have 2 of them now. I think you really get a lot for your money, normally. I do think this limited edition is pretty pricey, but that is part of what you are paying for with an LE, and you really need to like red. The 60th anniversary edition version was stunning and the new glassbox versions look great.

It will be cool In a few years time to see someone who has collected all the year of the animal editions :)

It annoys me when there is an exhibition back that has a massive design on it! We want to see the movement.

Grand Seiko do this sometimes.

·

I think Tag Heuer is doing an excellent job. Would love to see them relaunch the Monza series.

·

I want to like Tag, but they are super overpriced. And you know you’re gonna take a big hit if you ever want to sell it

The symbol on the lower of the dial is letter dragon in calligraphy, I believe.

·

I need that.

If anyone wants this and is in South Australia, I know the guy in Tag Heuer flagship store and could hook you up. If anyone else wants to buy a regular Carrera, come to me instead because my store is an AD 😂

·

The tags that have been put out over the course of the last 12-18 months have been stellar. Honestly considering putting them on the long term list of “if and when a chunk of chages falls in my lap, what do I buy” watches. This one in particular.

Looks awesome. I love this Carrera series.

·

I love the gold one. Way too expensive though.
