The relief of being outbid on eBay

Ever bid on a watch you didn't really want, instantly regretted, and then hoped someone else would outbid you on so you didn't have to do a bid retraction and look bad?

It happened to me earlier today, and I am overjoyed! ๐Ÿ˜€

Phew it happened to me as well, I think itโ€™s an eBay rights of passage type thingy

That makes you and me both. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

A couple of times for me. I had to retract once and felt terrible for messing about the seller.

ยท

But how dare they outbid you tho? You better bid again to restore your honor..

Just won an ancient Omega for way more than I should have paid...๐Ÿคฃ

Have you not also been messed around by sellers though? I had one make an offer, and whilst I was considering it he retracted the offer because heโ€™d seen that 2 more people had started watching the item.

Needless to say, EBay did nothing about it.

Only once when selling an Omega 200 pre bond.

Tracking showed it delivered and he said it hadn't been. He lied.

I only wish I'd been outbid after I've won. ๐Ÿ˜•
