Happy Boxing Day!

Dunno about you, but I'm completely sick of Christmas. I've been in the same t-shirt for over a week now, and I'm still not feeling the Christmas spirit.

Image

There's 11 more days left of this torture too!

My Christmas dinner was very good though, and I got my Skmei PRX.

Image

I watched "The Snowman" (sinister as it is) and "Mog" while eating, as I have done every year since they were created. Cartoons are my jam... but not my Cranberry Sauce which is also jam but a vile thing to eat with meat. I drew the line at "The Snowdog" though because I don't like dogs.

I don't do the horrible things like brussels sprouts, Christmas Pudding, Christmas "Dead Fly" Cake, or mince pies because I prefer to throw them straight in the bin and cut out the middleman. If it's not something chocolate, I'm not interested in dessert.

Image

I have no idea what the King's Speech was about, I watched "The Wizard of Oz" for a while, and then EastEnders was such a bait and switch that I went to bed in a Harvey's Bristol Cream Sherry fuelled rage. I wasn't in a better mood when I was awakened for second dinner either.

Image

And that "Lot No. 249" ghost story from last night wasn't even a ghost story... Plus it had some blatant wokeyness and rewrites to it which rendered it null and void entertainment-wise. I never expect much of Mark Gatiss anyway, but this year's "Ghost Story For Christmas" was almost the worst one so far. I couldn't make head nor tail of Doctor Who either, but Anita Dobson was at the end. Doesn't she look old now? Don't we all?

Image

At least my cats will get some attention today, and I have a special present for them once I empty the other things my wife got me out of it.

Image

I'm also already back on the shopping sites looking for the next watch to purchase. I actually bought the Pope's Casio on a whim from eBay too on Christmas Eve, so I have that to look forward to later this week.

Image

As you know, I already have the Pope's Swatch, but I need them all to earn my way into Heaven. I'll not be going there otherwise. That's how it works, right? Isn't that why we get tons of Christmas presents to bribe the baby Jesus with? I honestly have no idea, Christmas is silly!

Happy Boxing Day!

So called because this is the annual day in Britain when we traditionally have bare-knuckle fights in the street with our next door neighbours and extended family members for no good reason whatsoever.

I've had enough of it all too. The only good thing was not seeing any UK brainwashing TV.

It's never been the same since they banned us from eating foxes and swans for dinner.

Talking of woke. I was watching "Goodnight Sweetheart". Starts off with a woke warning. FFS.

Some words were deleted.

Goodnight Sweetheart having words deleted, I had to turn it off, pissed me off too much. Bloody woke shit pisses me off.

Bah humbug I used to feel the same at Christmas but since those 3 ghosts visited it's all fun and games now .......

Happy Boxing Day. I think swans are evil. On every occasion I come across one it hisses at me from 100 yards away. Everytime I watch "You've Been Framed" someone gets attacked by a bird, it's usually a swan or a goose. I had for many years decided to fight back, I mean, I think I can take a swan down. A friend told me, that with my luck someone would video it and I would end up on every news channel going including BBC, NBC, CBC etc, and I would be enemy of the people. I would probably then be deported to an island somewhere, no doubt full of birds with attitudes. So I am not eating or fighting swans and have decided to run away, scream like a 5 year old girl and wave my arms in the air.

Stories like that makes me happy to be Jewish, although I grew up in a Catholic village in France and therefore celebrated the birth of rabbi Joshua from Nazareth like everybody else.

·

This was my first Christmas in the old country since 1992. I still have a Boxing Day meal to navigate after which it’s back to the straight and narrow.

The only culinary blip was the cranberry sauce, which seems to be evil American infiltration when fine Nordic options such as loganberry make more sense. Other than that, it was pure vegetarian bliss.

I brought a box of six watches along for the ride, and they’re doing their job just fine. Ready for a new year in which frugality will resume its rightful place as a virtue.

Yeah, with it being Boxing Day, a huge fight broke out in our street with three chavs and what I initially thought was a badger. It turned out that the chavs were actually beating up a nun!

Anyway, my wife shouted at me, "You need to help!"

And I said, "No, I think the 3 of them should be able to handle it."

Ah, I'm Scottish. We didn't debase ourselves like that. 🤔🤣

I once went to a chippy in Oban and they did battered haggis, it was rather delightful, expensive but when you see the trouble of catching one I can understand.

Felt this way since Black Friday. Just glad the shopping season is coming to a close. All I wanted was to to really spend time with the kids…

Pizza Crunchy is battered and it's fantastic!

You can catch a veggie haggis at the Co-op. All you need is a spear, a net and some quality bait like an Omega AT coriander dial or whatever that colour is.

Well I’ve had two days of Xmas and my close family staying with us!

Great food, games and fun I also felt very old when I asked my grandsons what was "ligma balls" and they rolled around pissing themselves…………. I obviously know now 😂

So I haven’t watched telly, just signed into WC quickly each day to keep my wristy 365 on track and I shall now settle back down to normality for a week until the end of the year bit starts, I can then plan our special holiday for later in the year and also our Welsh zip wire weekend if fun!

I’ve watched no TV for two days, I’m so looking forward to watching Tabby mctat 😉

Telly has been truly awful this Christmas. It always is, but it's worse than ever before. The only thing I was looking forward to was "Death in Paradise", and I'm watching it now.

I have to wait until January 2nd for "The Chimes" (Charles Dickens' version of "It's a Wonderful Life" and the sequel to "A Christmas Carol") but that's on Radio 4 anyway. Until then, I just have the original "Haunted" series by Danny Robins from 2017 which I fall asleep to.

In the U.S. ruined economy, I had to give up eating foxes and swans. It was either that or give up the occasional Seiko or Casio. Then the mad scientists and dumb politicians ruined it even more, and I had to start eating hamburger. Then I had trouble affording hamburger, so I had to buy Hamburger Helper. And then I couldn't afford that either, so now I have to buy Hamburger Helper Helper.

Here's how it works. First, they try to intimidate because they know if we speak up they've got no argument. Second, if indeed they are forced into the argument, they change the meanings of words. And third, if nothing works and they've lost the argument and laws change, they get people in power that won't enforce them.

This is so tiresome. Best defense is speaking up, and ridicule. I like ridicule.
