My first Hamilton!
Hello crunchers!
I thought I’d share with you my new Hamilton Boulton which arrived today!
Photographing the small details are a little beyond my phone’s camera but hopefully you can appreciate the level of detail that they’ve put into the finishing: for example in the bi-lip (not sure what to call it) design of the crown or the fine concentric circles in the small second hand. Although the strap appears to be red, in person it is more of an oxblood colour and a little closer to brown. The hands appear black, however in certain angles are a subtle shade of blue. I love the curves of this watch and the sapphire crystal is also beautifully curved 👌.
I really dig the small size and I think it is exactly the vintage vibe that I craved. I’m now going to take a healthy pause from buying anymore watches and enjoy what I have. Seriously, no more buying watches 😄!

Thanks Ethan. I may have to add a black leather strap or maybe a mesh bracelet to the mix - all good fun to try.

They’re similar but different to the one in the film e.g Roman numerals vs Arabic, sapphire crystal vs mineral
See, so love that watch. What I don’t like, and it’s the same on my own Hamilton (which I didn’t notice until I’d pulled the trigger) is partial numerals. I hate them. My watch is a bigger offender than yours and is the reason I’m going to move mine on. Lovely watch and the strap colour is the best of the choices. Very rich. Good choice.

Yes, that doesn’t include the lugs. For some reason Hamilton doesn’t report the lug to lug.
