Which hand do you wear your watch?

Lefty or a Righty? Feel free to add a reason why you wear it on that particular side! I'm a lefty wearing boy. Idk where I heard this, but I remember being told at a very young age that men generally wear watches on their left and women wear watches on their right. I don't even think this is accurate in today's day and age but there you go.

That rationale is new to me. I always heard that you wear it on your nondominant hand.

That makes 100% complete sense.

The way I was "taught", or more specifically the reason behind using on either hand is that people should wear their wristwatches on the non-dominant hand. That is to protect the watch from regular daily chores and keep from banging the head or glass against something that can damage it. Now, is that the real reason...? IDK. But it does make sense to me.

Neither! It’s on my wrist. Traditionally office workers would write rather than use a keyboard so you would wear your watch on the arm that you do not write with for obvious reasons. Game over now, so a smart watch or fitness strap on one wrist and a timepiece on the other.

Wait - I'm confused. When you say 'lefty' do you mean wearing it on your left wrist? Because as a lefty (someone who is left handed) I naturally wear mine on my right wrist.

·

Right wrist. I’m a lefty.

·

I’m right handed and wear on my right hand. Always have done. Wearing in my left wrist feels an alien 👽 experience to me.

·

About 90% of people are right handed so you should find around 90% wear a watch on their left wrist

·

As a left handed person I wear on my right wrist. Just putting a watch on my left wrist feels very strange.

Right handed and wear it on my right wrist. That way the crown doesn’t dig into the back of my hand!
