Sometimes Invicta makes something worthwhile.

I've loved Invicta for a while, since it was my entry point into watch collecting. But I won't pretend as if their catalog isn't 75% monstrosities and 15% homages. The thing is, that last 10% can be pretty cool. This is the Invicta Triple Time Zone, it's part of their Vintage line. It's only 41mm, so it's not a monstrosity and it's based on an actual vintage Invicta from the 1970's. So they are homaging themselves. At about $60, not counting the strap which I got on Amazon, it's a great deal. I just love the retro styling, and wanted to share.

The 70's watch was a "surfboard" chronograph... these triple time zone watches are odd and I'd like to know what the pushers do.

The pushers are used to set the the sub dials, you push to advance the hands 1 hour at a time.

Damn if it's not something from invicta I like, looks cool. Trouble is I've tried searching for it on amazon etc (haven't found it) but I found lots of their other offerings and I'm going to have a lay down 🤪🤯.

Sadly this one isn't on Amazon, but it is on ShopNBC. Just stay away from the new Simpsons watches, they are hideous.
