His and Hers

My Oris and her Nomos.

My wife isn’t really into watches but I just can’t have her walking around with a fashion watch 🤣. Took her to an AD and she gravitated to Nomos (thank god lol).

Is your other half into watches?

If so…lucky 😂

Oris!!!

·

Nope…same forced her into my hobby she has some notable 3 collection imo lol… but prefers her Apple Watch above all… smh…

·

Love both watches...my wife jumped into the rabbit hole with me...if your wife gets used to wearing fine timepieces how can she not right?

·

Oddly enough, they look like a perfect couple watch from the start

I wish the missus would show just a tiny bit of interest God knows I’ve tried. Her response is always,’that’s nice dear…’.

You are so lucky. To agree to also take a wrist shot that’s a double happiness!

Oh ! You have not reached the stage "you are not coming here to talk to me about watches again !" 🙂

Bought my fiancée a 34mm tissot with the powermatic 80 movement and she never wears it. She wears a Casio F91W with gold accents.

·

Yes! She has a Super Ocean, Nomos Orion, Tudor BB 32 and a Rado.

Yes, my Better half is into watches. Not sure it's a good thing tho, it's cost me a small fortune, & she's well aware of how much I spend on my own watches 🤣

She's got the Cartier, a SPB147, a Tuna & a Khaki King..and recently bought me my favourite watch a Green Willard, bless her. 😁

( Not married yet, but she's a keeper)

·

same. she would’ve been fine with a Michael Kors gaudy gold pos. i couldn’t let that happen. so now she switches between a Cartier Tank Solarbeat and a 31mm Datejust. i think she’s “done” with watches now though. there’s nothing else she wants.

As much as I love Tissot, I can't blame her for going with classic Casio 😎 You should point out to her, however, that while the Casio is good for daily wear, that she should wear the Tissot on dressier occasions, such as dinner dates, church, family outings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. 😀

Rolex is cool and all, but if I had a Cartier, I'd never take it off, LOL. 🤣 I like their aesthetic more than Rolex. And those Santos tanks... man, those watches are SUPER COOL. 😎

My wife isn't into collecting watches, but she does enjoy wearing them. But before I started buying for her, all of her watches were just fashion watches. And of those 6 fashion watches, only 1 of them had a decent movement in it. So I have been buying her watches, and recently a watch box, and she has a decent collection going now. 😀 And I plan to get her more as time goes by. 😀

·

She’s not but I got her a Club Campus too.

Don't have another half currently. Maybe that's for the best, because I can buy as many watches as I can afford without catching any slack. Saying this, it's still a goal of mine to gift the future someone a vintage watch that (hopefully) I would have restored. I'm into a girl that's like me: permanently wearing rose tinted spectacles and likes those vintage expansion bracelets made for the elderly.

I am a lucky man. My wife is amazing lol. This is the only hobby she agreed with tho..she wants to get rid of my sneakers and fish tanks and cigars 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so something’s gotta give I guess LOLOL

Fish tanks? How many?

Continue to grow your collection, who knows your dream girl might just find you.

Oh that is awesome! What an awesome story! I think the battles won when they reach for a proper watch and not a fashion watch haha. Cheers to you and your wife 🍻

I love Nomos! Perfect watch for the Mrs. And the Oris is sweet too. I have the slate blue, all stainless bracelet variant. It is one of my all-time favorite watches. 👌🏼

My girlfriend definitely has some interest in the whole watch thing (I have caught her talking about my watches before) but not like crazy. She mostly likes the beauty of some, the only problem is that she has very tiny wrists so practically every watch is too big for her. I am dedicated tho to find her a perfect watch.

Go vintage. Vintage watches tend to run much smaller sizes.

Yes! I 1000% agree with you! Love this watch!

·

You definitely chose a great Watch for her! Understated class, Nomos

·

This is an awesome post Jai! Man I wish the wife was into watches enough to rock a Nomos like that. I mean I just post a husband her because my wife finally after 2 years gave into for me to get her an affordable watch and I am happy with that. But I know deep down inside she probably only said ok so I can stop asking. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Haha thanks man! Yea my wife likes shiny things 🤣 I got lucky there. She could care less about the winding and setting of the watch (I do it for her) but she’ll always wear a watch. Despite her having dope watches…she’ll always opt for her Casios. Idk if it’s a blessing or a curse. Because having her even remotely interested in watches…are expensive 🤣🤣😭
