My first Grand Seiko!!!!
…a few days back I had asked for inputs on this watch as I was very close to making the purchase.
I got it (SBGA413) last evening - and here it is on my wrist on a sunny Monday morning as I start my work week.
To be honest - I have spent a lot of time just looking at the dial. Different angles of light giving it a different hue just kept me mesmerized the whole morning.
Will share more details later. But for now…I am a happy camper 😀

I got my model from a GS store (Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), and the experience could not have been better.
Shout out to manager Joe Lim, who adjusted the bracelet for me but said "come back if it's not quite right, and we'll fix it" - and did just that. He gave me a very nice GS wine cooler and Seiko pen. I pop in to chat and look at new models quite often and met him at a GS9 club event last year. Always super friendly. He knows I'm not about to buy another GS - he admired my new Mark XX the other day.
But if I do go back and buy another - the Tentameter if I win the lottery perhaps - the superb customer care would definitely be a factor.
