My grandpa got this at the local flee market for 7000 rs ( 100 usd) . Any chance this is real?
My 86 year old granddad went to the flee market and got a 60th anniversary of bond omega seamaster diver 300 ?! I showed this to him once as it is my grail watch and today he surprised me with it . Ngl I was so happy I literally jumped like a kid . Anyways I'm pretty sure it isn't a orignal because of the price but if feels pretty well built. Anyways it looks amazing. I love the dial , hands and the case and bezel shape . Even if it's not orignal I love the effort. If I get bored from it I'll mod one of my other divers with its parts mabye . Would be glad to hear your guys openion . Is it a fake ? Do you like the design ? Do any of you have a orignal peice

More than likely it's a fake. Best proof is to look at the movement.
as fake as it gets man, sprry but it is unlikely that this things happends nowadays with internet.
anyhow if you check the original hands you will see clearly the difference of the skelotonization (i dunno if it is the correct term). The priginal one taper in a different way. Then there is the bezel that is way off in terms of color, and I am sure the more you look the more detauls will appear, the movement of course is gonna be fake. Sorry but with watches you get what you pay. (Not that paying thousands usually is worth it)
I bet if it didn't have the Omega branding on it, it would be worth the price. The main tell for it being a rep, for me in my limited experience, is that a few things don't seem as sharp as on an actual Omega. The logo on the bracelet is the main culprit here. But it looks good and hey a nice thoughtful gift!

Fake or not, your grandpa remembered your grail watch and found it. “All watches look the same” to most people (how dare they!), so the fact he got the right one is rather amazing. You’ll think of him every time you put it on. Enjoy the piece!
