Did I make a mistake? Too small ?

So basically I bought this online. Not thinking much of it as it is a well renowned and good looking Casio an even has a illuminator. But I was taken a bag by its small size. I am no stranger to small watches. I have turns in my collection and seeing that I have a humungous wrist. I should have predicted that this might be a little too small, but this looks like a toy to my eyes. Other watches I have even 35 mm once. Look better on my wrist . Is buyers remorse getting the better of me? Should I have gone for the G-Shock square which was just $20 more? ( About 2000 INR) does it look ugly?. No other complaints with the watch what so ever. A crisp display vintage looks and lightweight construction make it vanish on the wrist . It's quite renowned so if I want to get rid of it, I am pretty sure some of my college mates will be happy to take it off of my hands. Just for contact I own a Casio ae1200 and compared to that this looks like a child's watch.

If you like it, rock it! Here’s mine on my 7” wrist…

I’m a panerai kind of guy and this seemed really small. But I got used to it after a while

Looks great on your wrist. 💪🏼

They are intentionally small and cheap because they were always meant to be an entry level watch for the young generation. Casio knew that attracting teens was a gold mine.

If you like how it wears, then who cares?

There's plenty of people on here with skinny wrists wearing watches that are too big for them, and it affects absolute nobody else.

Here's a very similar one on my 8" wrist. I I initially felt the same but I like the fact it's a bit different and smaller now. Wear it!

Comparison is the thief of joy. Watch looks fine in its own right. I have the opposite viewpoint, where watches of this size look right and thus anything much larger looks clunky and oversized.

I personally prefer watches in the 39-46mm size but am completely open minded about case size having struggled with vintage as an initial affectation in the hobby. The bracelet seems to be pinching making the wear experience less than perfect. My mom who was a sturdy big bone woman hated the tiny little Seiko dress watches that were commonly marketed for the ladies during the 70s 80s until one day I bought her a 38mm Breitling Chronomat with a bullet bracelet which is now often on her younger grand daughter’s wrist.

Only you can make that decision

I think it's fine. Like PoorMansRolex I think "wrist presence" is a bad thing and what most people consider "perfect size" looks anywhere from slightly oversized to ridiculously huge.

So opinions will differ. Of course only you can know what works for you.
