THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ( AESTHETICALLY PLEASING) SEIKO EVER
Clickbait titie aside , I just acquired this Seiko snk809( FOR 70 USD !!) and i thinks it's the most good-looking watch in my collection and tbh mabye the most beautiful timepease ever made by Seiko . I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all but , it hits all the markers for me . It has heald up remarkably well for a watch designed in the mid 2000's . There are plenty of faults and niggles in the watch and there are plenty of review videos on YouTube and stuff , the hardlex Cristal, the non hacking and hand winding movement and so many more faults but i , personality can't fault it on looks AT ALL . From the titanium-esk, blasted finish of the case to the absolutely beautiful handset ( the lolipop of the seconds hand and the pop of red ) . I love the type B flieger dial with amazing lume , the color matched date window, the 4 o clock tucked crown , the transparent caseback , the canvas strap . It just feels very high quality and dare I say it , prefect . Sure if it was a bit bigger mabye it would suit me better but you can't have everything can you . Compared to even old or new Seiko 5 models , i prefer this by a landslide
