A die-cast transformers robot watch; I’d love to be able to find it again.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Speedmaster Professional Moonphase 3576.50.
Can’t reveal — it’s highly sentimental.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Ignore the noise, ignore the negativity, and follow your heart — clomages and replicas being the exception, don’t let anyone tell you what you should own.
And stay away from Andrew Morgan and Watchfinder YouTube if you want to learn anything about the hobby — they’re working an obvious and unethical angle.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Rolex, Grand Seiko, Glashutte Original
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Previously Rolex BLNR (and still the best watch overall in my opinion). Achieved it a couple of years ago, now it’s the VC Overseas Everest GMT.
