I have just got my King Seiko 5626-7110 from 1971 back from a complete service.
I bought it last August from a Japanese seller on eBay. It was running very well but I wanted to be sure it was in good condition to be used as part of my daily rotation and I also wanted the gaskets to be checked.
After looking at it my matchmaker told me the crown gasket had no replacement, so I took it back and went on to eBay and bought a full gasket kit from Vintage Time Australia so my watchmaker could fit them.
So the result after a few weeks is the watch is back with its water resistance restored and running smoothly.
I took these photos with my new Weishi toy. It seems to be settling around -2 flat and +4 crown down, amazing for a 52-year-old movement, I think. I will track the accuracy over a few days in daily wear and see how it does
I love this watch and I am very happy I could get it back to such great shape.

Fabulous watch, well done on bringing it back to health.
Very nice, King Seiko made some great watches! I'm wearing my KS4502-7000 today actually, had it serviced when I got it 5 years ago & it's still running great at -1 spd!
The King Seiko is fire!
