A gift for my mother, part 2
My mom's birthday is soon and I want to gift her a decent mechanical watch. This one fits her style. Already gifted my dad an Orient Bambino, so this would be the perfect pairing.
What are your takes on this one?

My father and grandfather taught me early on the importance of having a good watch. My first watch was a Lorus at 6 and my first real watch was a Swatch Irony chrono which still works.

My honest opinion:
No. That's a watch for enthusiasts. Not for a lady. I think it doesn't look pretty. By gifting a watch you should consider her point of view. I know it's tough in this price range. But look for Citizen for example. They quure few blingy watches made of titanium with ecodrive.
Or rather would I invite her for a great dinner.
Worth it see if they have titanium those are very light. That one is fine as well.

I wouldn't have picked this watch if it wasn't considering my mother's taste. I wasn't asking for opinions on the aesthetics of it. I was asking if it's a good watch. Like, is it reliable, comfortable, easy to adjust, good specs, etc?

She even has a small colection of vintage watches. Believe it or not she still wears a vintage quartz watch that belonged to my grandmother, about 40 years old and still works!
