If you can spend a little bit more I would definitely recommend the Citizen NB1050 series that comes in black, blue, white and grey/silver. Otherwise check out the Citizen BM7620 from the EcoDrive series.

The white dial NB1050 might be the winner thanks for the suggestions

Citizen promaster
San Martin and Baltany have some nice military models with Miyota movements for under $300.
a gshock maybe?
I feel like you need to get a Citizen to complete the full Japanese trifecta! But great collection so far, I have faith you won't make a bad choice!
