I’m pretty sure any Seiko AD can send it to The Seiko UK Service Centre for you. Cost me about £300 a few years ago to service a 1990 sports 150 model. Good luck.

I’d never loan anything like that unless I was happy to say goodbye to it forever - like a Casio or something less than a hundred quid. All I can say is either your collection must be amazing if you’re happy to let that bad boy go for a year or you’re an amazing friend (maybe both).
