Got a nice ding on my brand new bronze Zelos Hammerhead 3. I banged it on a gas station bathroom door so I don't even have an interesting story to explain it. I'm pissed but I'm trying to see it as the watch gaining a Wabi Sabi aesthetic. Does anyone know of any options there may be to get the ding out?

It's a battle scar you can wear with pride. ย Its on a brushed finish so polishing is out. Contact company and see if they can sell you a bezel.
Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately the ding isn't on the actual bezel. It's actually between the crystal and the bezel. Like on the bit of the case that the crystal is set in.
She's yours. ย Now if things feel surreal and you look at your Hammerhead watch and you see that ding... you know you're not trapped in a dream, but if you don't see a ding?....
That is an excellent response! Very original! Love it! I am also broke AF and love watches btw
You just need to embrace it.
Did the gas station charge you for demolishing the bathroom door? ย I can only imagine the damage that a hammerhead can do!
In all seriousness dont worry about it - the first one is always the worst, but watches are made to be worn, and are bound to take damage sooner or later. ย It all adds to the character of a watch. ย Love the colour combination you went for btw.
I initially couldn't find it in the photo, bud. Then, because our brains are wired to recognize patterns, I then saw it on the 23.5-second marker. Honestly, it actually blends quite well into the kind of tough looking case brushing, as if part of the design. I wouldn't notice it if you didn't point it out. And... isn't your beautiful piece called the Hammerhead? So, it's built and meant to bang, right? ๐๐ช๐ปย
just learn to appreciate and embrace the sratch and the ding. it is the part of life journey ๐๐ป
The ding makes your watch "yours" ๐
Here is your new story. You only $75 to fill your car. Yet, your bladder had you to rush to the bathroom, stop the pump before it hit $75 and save a kid from the ice cream truck where everything now cost $10. Now youโre an epic hero with a battle scar.
That is a good one๐คฃ๐คฃ
Keep it as is and tell people you it happened going to the bathroom (technically not a lie!).
They will fear the power that rests inside your bowels.
Took me a second to even see the scratch. ย My recommendation is just embrace it. ย Even if you did manage to fix it, the watch would eventually just get another scratch, it is the circle of life.

Actually just went in to wash my hands, had been eating donuts in the car with my step-daughter. Oddly enough it was a women's bathroom๐คฃ๐คฃ I made her go in to wash her hands and since it was just one person deal I just went in with her because the men's was occupied. But your version is definitely more epic!
Canโt even see the ding ย when I have your photo on max enlargement! Iโd just forget it and move on as it will be one of many during its lifetimeย
that hurts just a buy a new one
Don't worry about it. Just like scars on body. It's character!!! Just makes it better.
I just got the same one a few days ago. ย Was it a hard hit?ย
Yea, it was a pretty good lick. Probably would've nicked 316 stainless.

Isnโt the point of a Bronze watch to gain that sweet sweet patina? The ding just makes it look more authentic.
Use it up.
Wear it out.
Make it do.
Or, do without.
