How many strap and bracelet options do you have per watch?

A large part of the fun in this hobby is the hunt for the perfect strap / bracelet pairing. Depending on the watch I'll have between 2 and 10 options, varying between colours, textures, materials.

Although I sometimes just revert to the original strap or bracelet because after all, it comes from the work and choice of a professional designer.

How often do you change?

Got my Grail a few years ago, so I've become a strap collector for it - got maybe 20 (21mm lug width too tho 22mm do fit). Think I've found my 4 favourites tho - Zuludiver "original Bond " and "NTTD" NATOs (better than Omega's IMHO) an Artem loopless sailcloth & Tapered Staib mesh (& standard bracelet, obviously)

I've got a big box under the bed with maybe 60 NATO's in & around 20 bracelets for my other watches.

I'm quite old and been into watches all my life, so one tends to accumulate crap 😂😂

Nato straps are real fun! I do change them like once a month, only for diver. I have 3 nato straps and indeed, sometimes it feels like I have new watch. G-shock stays on rubber, others are leather.

Very cool! I too have a box with straps, bracelets and natos. (It used to be a watch box but I've removed the watch compartments. )

I'm guessing the grail is the Omega Seamaster ? (looks sharp on the blue sail cloth)

Yes, it is. Love it, seems like the perfect strap for it.

Lol, agreed - you can never have too many NATO's ☺️

"How often do you change?"

Often.

Sometimes I buy the strap 1st. 🤓

haha! I've done that in the past! I still have a red nato with black PVD hardware that I bought because I was anticipating to buy the black Hamilton Khaki Mechanical.

I didn't buy the watch, I still have the strap 🤣

I try to keep it limited to just a few so things don't get out of hand...

Err day lol.

I change straps often I'd say. Maybe once a month on some watches. My biggest dilemma with some pieces is the search for the "perfect" strap pairing. Like my solar Seiko diver, I searched high and low for the perfect bracelet. After finally finding it, I just went back to a rubber strap because it was easy and light weight. I might end up back with a nato next month...

Most of my watches have a 20mm lug to lug, so I have made a few impulsive acquisitions in term of straps/nato...

Mostly leather straps, I also got a lot of NATO/ZULU straps. Bought only one milaneese strap and one plastic strap.

I have a few watches that I change straps almost everytime I wear it, so lots of fun indeed.

2-3 per watch, but many straps fit different watches so for some I have 5+...... I love changing straps.....

·

I have many. Per watch? I still have many.

This was taken months ago. I'm now struggling to make my way to the front door.

Too many straps for me.

Ends up being a waste of money for me since I always prefer the oem options the watch came with.

·

I almost never change once I find a perfect pairing (and for me, the OEM bracelet or strap option is usually good enough). I have one watch in my collection that I have had trouble pairing up and that's my Seiko mini-Tuna. Right now that's on a Borealis rubber strap, but I've tried natos, elastic natos, rubber, and I can't bond with anything. I might try a strapcode bracelet next. So for that watch, the number is about 5. For most of my watches it's 1, 2 max.

I tend to do brown leather but my daily fashion dictates primarily what I go with.
