Pampering Watch

Do you have a watch in your collection that you like more than the others or are there equal rights in your box?

The one that gets the most wrist time or better: it does not, and waits only for the special occassion, the final games, the big gala. The pampering watch that you clean more often look at the details under the light and fell in love over and over again? The one you would not flip and not exchange to another one?

Mine is probably the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 reference 114300. Just perfect for me!

If a watch is limited edition , sometimes it can justify a little more care , as servicing can somtimes (long term ) be an issue with LE models

·

I have 5 or 6 watches that are my favorites and my darlings, the truth is that it is not just one.

·

I have my vintage OP that stands in for my dress/special occasions watch. It's the only one that never gets wet or used daily.

I can imagine that vintage is another matter to look after your watches very careful.

Indeed I think I can also say that for me maybe it is also more than 1 watch, with maybe 3-4 watches.

Yes the more special or rare a watch the more special care it gets.

I take good care of all my watches but I am rather partial to my Baltic Aquascaphe and my Henry Archer Vesterhav, both blue. Both get a lot of wrist time.

·

I definitely have least favorites I can tell you that

·

It’s a banger of a watch…but sadly, it may be my next trade in…for a batgirl

Yes. I have a couple of old Soviet watches that lack shock absorbers.

I like your OP. I never really appreciated the diversity in DJ and OP collections until I started watching Theo and Harris

·

I probably wear my GShock metal more than all the rest

·

I don't believe in equal rights.

This cannot be equal to this

I have a good watch rotation. Most days it is just whatever fancies my taste. Tuesday is reserved for Omega Moonwatch (speedy Tuesday). I do make an effort to wear my main group of watches once each week.

·

I love that dial. 39 is such a great size too.

·

I have one... it's my Speedy Tin-Tin... and it falls into the only-worn-on-special-occasions category.
