Be careful in London I would say check out all the museums in London that are all great on your way up to Edinburgh I would recommend a day in York lots of history there also lots watch shops as well Edinburgh is lovely

·

Walk around Bond Street in Mayfair for the luxury watches.

·

Science Museum has a very important display of the history of time and has hugely impressive displays of important clocks and watches. Also the Maritime Museum at Greenwich. Take a boat down from Westminster bridge (1 hour by tourist boat, faster if you go UBER boat) the museum has the Harrison clocks working and on display, they are simply stunning. Enjoy your trip 😉

·

Burlington Arcade for some real vintage treasures.

·

The John Harrison chronometer clocks at the Greenwich Observatory. You can read about their incredible historic importance on lots of websites.

·

Not a recommendation but as you would've heard by now, do be careful with what you show on your wrist. London's going crazy nowadays

·

The big Watches of Switzerlands are great for trying on a bunch of models, and Harrods has a few hard-to-find brands, like Lange and Moser. I'd also recommend the boutiques if you have something specific you'd like to try, in particular Omega, Seiko/Grand Seiko, Longines, etc. If you like Vertex, they also have an in-person location too.

I wish more British brands were available to try in person though. British Watchmakers' Day proved how popular they can be.

For London, Bond street is good for ADs plus the watch room in Selfridges is fun to walk round and try some on. The Cartier boutique on Bond St is an amazing building with lots of history so is worth a walkthrough if nothing else.

This Mayfair restaurant is a good place to flex your Rolex in.

In Edinburgh, make sure you wear your most expensive luxury watches when you visit St Andrew Square too. It's a really good place to visit after it gets dark.

Great idea. Time in York is always well spent.

Aside from the watch boutiques/department stores/areas already mentioned.

Maison Assouline on Piccadilly has some beautiful books (watches or otherwise) to see and is a nice place to visit

Battersea Power Station has also quickly developed into a watch shopping destination. WoS, Omega, Rolex, Cartier, Swatch, Tudor, Tag, Breitling and the flagship IWC boutique are all here. You can get the tube but it’s much more scenic to take a boat ride from any of the major Thames piers.

Hope you have a great time in the UK

Yeah I do like day out there myself

New Bond Street and Burlington Arcade are must sees in London. Harrods fine watch department is fun too.

Edinburgh is surprisingly good for watch stuff too - Chisholm Hunter is a very friendly AD - I highly recommend them.
