To all Grand Seiko Owners
What goodies did you recieve with your Grand Seiko purchase? I got nothing but the box and the watch, while an aquantance got a travel case, cleaning kit, and GS hard cover book. So I don't know if I should go back to the AD and ask for these things they should have included.

Nothing massive 15% brought it in May.
Box and papers only. But I transacted with AD on the phone only. Also receiving gifts or not may depend on how much you spend $$ with the AD.

Many brands are having a hard time selling watches compared to a year ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if companies are now offering discounts whereas they weren’t a year ago.

25% discount by buying from Japan direct online. Worth more than whatever they could give me from a GS Boutique here...

I think it’s the AD who gives the swag, so on its on him.
GS9 - the USA GS club will mail you swag, once you’ve joined.
At the big annual GS9 event I got a GS hat, which I love. Ultimate watch nerd street cred.
When I travelled all the way to Shizuku Ishi and all I got was a bookmark and postcard 😂 (was hoping for a GS gift after that mega trek!)
When I purchased my Grand Seiko, in addition to the box and papers, I also got a hardcover journal and cleaning kit from my AD.
Unfortunately, the GS9 club Canadian branch has never sent any pins or swag.

Nothing when I made my purchase. Each AD is different. But once I joined the GS9 Club I started getting gifts like tie clips, pins, magazines, and if you go to a GS9 event you get swag bags that typically have hats, tshirts, art, and other fun things.
Generally speaking I’ve found the experience with the ADs to be a bit lame. Oris has been the best to date. They gave me a book and a keychain.

Like others have mentioned it depends on the dealer. I bought my second Oris recently and got nothing but a glass of water.
