I love his channel. No one does more with less. I believe the Monta is the first Watch he got specifically for review, thus all videos are his honest opinion. He clearly has loads of business knowledge and that’s how he carves a niche for himself. He speaks with authority as a business consultant and Watch nerd, but at no point does he seem obnoxious. I never miss his videos.
I you are sure the watch is legit, box and papers are only worth it for a bit more of resale value. If you plan to keep the watch, you may end up paying less for te set.
Just to understand. You’re going to sell your watch and never going to buy another one from the brand because you didn’t like one commercial?
Agree except for the Narco-gold BB58. That Watch makes no sense to me. For the same price you can buy amazing brands (in steel), such as ALS, Vacheron, PF, Moser, among many. I may be naive, but don’t quite understand the target market.
The BB41 and BB58 GMT are great.
It’s a gaudy way to continue its upmarket move. A common perception about Rolex is that the changes are subtle and respect the heritage of its various models. In my opinion, that is less and less true. The only 6-digit Rolex I personally prefer to their 5-digit counterpart are the Explorer I, Datejust, OP and, maybe, some Day-Dates.
