Timex week

Yesterday, I was looking in the place where I keep my more affordable watches, and was having a hard time deciding what to wear, and ultimately what I should do to pare them down soon.

I have said for a long time now, (jokingly of course) that when it comes to N+1, that Timex (Casio, etc), didn't count. Now of course that is not true, but with how easily attainable some of them are, (did one catch your eye while walking through the department store?, Walmart?, Target?, local sporting goods store?, etc) it is easy to quickly have too many.

So in preparation to pare down the number of watches I don't wear all that often, and to challenge myself this week, I have decided to only wear Timex watches this week.

I plan to post each day here in this thread, and in the usual WRUW daily, but I will wear at least one Timex each day this week (some days I may switch color or watches for more variety). Some of the Timex that I have are less common, or older (not many vintage though), so If I know anything about them I'll add the info to the post.

I'm not sure if this is something you all are interested in, but if you would like, feel free to join in and post your Timex here each day, it could become an interesting thread.

So to start the Timex week, I am wearing this morning, a MK1 steel, on the factory stainless (hair removal 😂) bracelet.

Still an MK1, just an evening switch to the gold tone.

I have seen mostly Citizen, Glycine, and Bulova at my Costco.

Timex Allied LT    TW2T76100

This one has a better case finish, and a crown at 4 and a more detailed caseback, which makes it a bit different than most of the Expedition style line.

Timex expedition dive style, not too sure on the model number, I'll see if I have it saved somewhere later today.

Rotating bezel, shock resistant and 100m not too shabby for a Timex.

(I actually found a post from a different forum, in March 2010 when I bought this new.)

That's awesome! I really like the TX line that they made back then.
