Some better pics (cleaned my lens, haha) of the antique Elbon.

It runs, but about 20-25 minutes slow per day.

It does have a service history on the inside of the caseback, it looks like 3 times in 80-90 years.

It's a cracker, Todd. I run slow everyday as well. Are you going to try regulating it yourself? 🤓

I also run slow... Lol

It needs a service I think, before regulation.

Maybe your fast 20-25 minutes a day. Reminding you to slow down. Center yourself and be one with the force

Very wise. Could be.

That is really cool Todd. I love the art deco styling. I was just watching the movie Metropolis, from 1927. The case styling reminds of that period.

Very nice and classy Todd. Good pics.

It does seem to be set on "S". That may account for most of it. It is a pretty (and very manly) watch.

I gave it a nudge back towards the middle. Without a timegrapher, I just have to let it run.

Thank you.

Awesome piece! If you have a demagnifier that can help with timing too. If you don't have one you can pick one up fairly cheap on AliExpress or Amazon. When it comes to having vintage mechanical watches it's good to have one.

I do love those case back scratching. At least someone took the time to get them serviced. I have a few sketchy vintage I took a chance on and the ones without any markings are usually beyond saving… Can’t always recover from a lifetime of being ignored.
