Spinnaker limited edition Croft

My first Spinnaker watch and also my first skeleton dialed watch as well. I’m actually very impressed with the build quality and the Seiko NH70 runs great.

Whats your experience with Spinnaker watches and do you rate them at all?

I have one Spinnaker watch that I like. It is the collaboration Fleuss that Spinnaker did with Marc from Long Island Watch. I have been very happy with it and am considering getting another one for my collection. The only slight complaint is that it does not have the Miyota 9039 movement, it has the NH35 movement in it.

I have the "Stealth" version and am very impressed with it.

(the movement is actually a Seiko NH70, not a Miyota)

I have 3 Spinnaker watches with a 4th on the way.  Good stuff.

It would be great if they used the Miyota movements more often, only problem would be it may increase the price of the watches

Pretty sure it's an NH70.

Reviews of the watch also point that out unless they made a "sub limited edition" with a select few using Miyota.

All of my Spinnakers use the NH series of Seiko movements .

The only model I've seen woth a Miyota (9015) ias a Boettger which is 600+ dollars.

Yeah my bad, I think it’s a NH70 no date version

Doesn't detract one bit from the quality of the watch.

One of my favorite microbrands.

Yeah I’m very impressed by the watch, it sort of reminds me of a Tudor for some reason

Did you get the sunburst grey or the off white dial?

·

I have the black PVD version and it's my favorite everyday watch, I get lost in the depth of that dial, and the subtle blue glare of the crystal, the movement ran 2 seconds off per day which is impressive for an out of the box seiko movement, my only gripe was the strap which felt cheap, I think it was the compromise of having a water resistant leather strap, but I quickly changed into a black rubber one.

I got the off white dial and have it on the treated leather strap.

Love that white dial, I’m going to have to pay more attention to Spinnaker in the future. I hadn’t seen that variant until now, it looks amazing 🤩

Awesome so you are one of the 50 that got it. I purchased it too👍

I can not lie, I won mine in a YouTube competition from Peter Kotsa here in Australia. I consider myself very lucky, as you say there is only 50 of these so I did very well indeed.
