Just yesterday afternoon in a coffee shop with 2 friends I was showing them my new Seiko Presage Cocktail Gimlet and a gentleman at another table commented and shared a look at his Seiko 5. We chatted about watches to the detriment of ignoring my friends and he let me know he was an aspiring watch designer on his way to the New York Horological Society to attend a presentation. I noted he had sketch pads and he shared a book on the designer for Omega. We both realized I should get back to my friends and I think we both enjoyed a surprising pleasant exchange.
