Yeah I know what you mean. Just watched @Max latest video on micros and got to say I agree about how you seem to be able to get much more for your money as they can cut down on marketing and overhead costs.

Could not agree more, I've had a healthy Indy or so called Micro collection going now for over 10 years.  Someone could do an Indy only collection and that would be very cool.  Not me, way to late for that.

Wowza, that vintage 6309 is fantastic!  I've not seen that one before; but I know the movement, and the era very well.

Same here, my independent collection is growing currently at 8 with number 9 on the way, but I’ve got too many nice mainstreams to get rid of them all.

I can’t have too many blue dials in my collection. Love them!

·

This was an unexpected purchase. It popped up at a great price and I just had to buy it.

Finally, I can show off my blue watches properly, now that I have all of them on hand.

I have several blue dial watches but this one which I seldom wear, has been on my mind for a few decades. DAMAS Alarme, presumably from the 1970’s. Still works fairly. I bought it at a shady watch shop in Beirut, Lebanon. I couldn’t get any information about the brand itself. Maybe you know something??

Damas appears to be a trademark of Beguelin & Co. S. A. Probably another quartz crisis fatality, not sure what happened to the company.

The alarm movement looks like it may be an A Schild eubauches type movement. I would also guess the watch dates to the late 60's early 70's. Maybe someone else has some additional information?
